Kelly O’Malley is a results-driven communications professional who has built her nearly 30-year career with a client-first philosophy. Her expertise includes integrated communications, strategic planning, marketing communications, influencer outreach, new product launches, and food/nutrition communication. During her career, she has represented a client roster that includes some of the biggest names in business including McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble’s Pampers Baby Care brand, Hanesbrands’ Playtex, Bali Intimate Apparel and Wonderbra brands, Tyson’s Sara Lee brand, Barclaycard US, SharkNinja, ConAgra Food’s Healthy Choice brand and many others.

Kelly excels at integrated, multi-disciplinary campaigns designed to drive business results. When Playtex Bras wanted to evolve its positioning to attract a younger consumer, Kelly led an integrated campaign to change the conversation about the iconic brand. The campaign leveraged a new marketing theme of “Be Uniquely You” and the timing of its launch on July 2. The team created a two-phase campaign that asked women to share their bra hopes and dreams and then revealed their crowd-sourced “Braclaration of Independence” that celebrated their pursuit of bra happiness. The campaign drove retail and online sales and won the PRSA Silver Anvil for Integrated Communications – Consumer Products.

Prior to OHC, Kelly was a senior vice president and partner in the consumer practice group and North American Food/Ag practice group co-leader at FleishmanHillard. Previously, she worked at Ralston Purina’s in-house agency for a variety of internal clients including Keystone and Breckenridge Ski resorts, Energizer Battery and Purina Pet Foods.

Kelly is a St. Louis native and a graduate of the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a marketing minor. Kelly is a long-time member of the Public Relations Society of America, St. Michael School of Clayton board member and past president of the board of directors at Catholic Charities of St. Louis. In 2017, Kelly was recognized as a Champion of PR by PRWeek.
