Kristy Finch has 20 years of experience, both as a communications expert and veteran broadcast journalist. She uses her previous experience as a TV producer to develop unique pitches for the media, and delivers extensive results for clients in broadcast, print and online outlets. Kristy was named the Media Relations Professional of Year by PR News in 2011 as a result of the amazing results achieved overseeing the company’s outreach to broadcast media outlets. Kristy has worked on a number of well-recognized companies including Turkish Airlines, SharkNinja, Ignite (Contigo), Open Skies, Bellator Fighting Championships, Logitech, Haier, Babbel, Ultimate Ears, Cardtek, It’s Just Lunch and Avantair.

Kristy has booked segments with regional and national programs, including the TODAY Show, Dr. Phil, Ellen, The Wendy Williams Show, FOX Business, The Talk, The Real, Extra, The Rachael Ray Show and The Doctors. Broadcast is her favorite medium to pitch; she loves watching the news and figuring out how our clients can seamlessly fit into a particular show’s content. Kristy knows the best time to follow up with contacts, she understands their interests and thinks about what the viewers, listeners and readers want to see and hear.

Prior to her time with O’Malley Hansen Communications, Kristy was a segment producer at FOX TV in Chicago for 14 years on Good Day Chicago, FOX News in the Morning, and FOX Thing in the Morning. She spent years asking the tough questions. Now, she is using that experience to help our clients answer those questions more effectively with her media training.

Kristy is a Milwaukee, Wis. native and a graduate of DePaul University, Chicago, where she received a B.A. degree in communications with a business minor.
